Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the EngiProse website and the EngiProse application. Use EngiProse for lawful business purposes, and do not do any of the following.

• Upload or process material you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Probe, scan, or interfere with the security of the service, or with anyone else's use of it.
• Share access outside the seats your organization holds, or resell the service.
• Use the service to produce material that is unlawful, deceptive, or designed to mislead the party receiving it.

Accounts belong to named people, not to teams, so keep your sign-in details to yourself. Your organization's administrators decide who can join, what role each person holds, and who can reach which proposals, and they can remove access at any time.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us through the support portal.

EngiProse may suspend or end access for breach of these terms; where your firm has signed a pilot or subscription agreement with us, that agreement governs termination.

EngiProse, including the application, its interface, and everything we publish on this site, belongs to us. These terms give you permission to use the service for as long as your access lasts. They transfer no ownership of it, and they give you no right to copy it, take it apart, or build a competing product from it. Our name and our logo stay ours.

Your proposals, the documents you upload, your firm's past work, and everything else you put into EngiProse remain yours. The drafts the service produces from them are yours too. We claim no ownership of any of it, and we process it to run the service for you.

You can export finished proposals from the product at any time, and you can ask us to delete your content through the support portal. How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

EngiProse drafts text with AI models, and that text can be wrong. It can misstate a fact, misread a requirement, or state something confidently that is not in your source material.

Everything the service generates is a draft for a qualified person to check. Review and correct it before it goes into a bid, a submission, or anything else a client will rely on. You remain responsible for what you send out under your firm's name.

Pre-release access to EngiProse is sold under individual written agreements. The billing, refund, and cancellation terms that apply to you are the ones set out in the agreement your firm signed with us, and that agreement governs them.

If you have a question about a charge, a refund, or cancelling, raise it through the support portal and a person will answer.

Where your firm has signed a pilot or subscription agreement with us, that agreement controls on fees, payment, service levels, confidentiality, and term. These terms cover everything that agreement does not, and where the two conflict on one of those points, the signed agreement wins.

The service is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, EngiProse and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost or inaccurate data, arising out of your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

We may update these terms. When we do, we post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and the date at the top of this page is always the date of the version you are reading. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.
